Services
Garage Door Repair
We specialize in providing full-service repairs for residential and small commercial garage doors and openers at Veteran Garage Door. The repairs and services listed below are just a few examples. This list isn't exhaustive, but it gives you an overview of our capabilities. To schedule an appointment for any repairs your garage door or opener may need, please reach out to us.
Spring Replacement
When our certified technician arrives, they will weigh and measure the height of your garage door. This assessment is crucial for calculating the IPPT, allowing them to provide you with various spring options. These options will detail warranty lengths based on lifecycle ratings and the total job cost, including tax and labor. Once you've made a decision, the technician will install the chosen springs according to industry standards. After installation, they will perform a balance check to ensure everything functions smoothly. We only use torsion spring systems due to their superior safety and reliability over older extension spring systems.
Opener Installation
Choose Veteran Garage Door for all your garage door opener needs, including repairs, maintenance, and installations of top brands like LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, and others. We specialize in Chain Drive, Belt Drive, Screw Drive, and Wall Mount systems (Direct Drive / Jackshaft). As a respected local provider, we prefer LiftMaster for its unmatched reliability and robust warranty, perfect for residential and commercial properties.

We have used Veteran Garage Door Repair twice in the past 7-8 years and have been very happy with the appointment setting process and service. Our garage door is over 20 years old and Aaron just came out to diagnose an issue again, and he was polite, timely, and wasn't pushy with pricey options for replacement, he gave us multiple options so we could figure out what works for us. I appreciate that very much! We recommend them to anybody needing garage door help!

I was so impressed with this company; not only were they 50 percent less than Welborn, they were fast and very respectful of my time. Cody was great and I have FINALLY found me a trustworthy garage door repair company! From Rowlett

I phoned Veteran Garage Door Repair for help when my van got stuck. Sam (the tech) was awesome. They were prompt, polite, and efficient when they arrived, and they called ahead to let us know when to expect them. When I see multiple 5-star reviews, I'm suspicious. But they were excellent, and I can now assure you that, like my own writing, reviews are genuine and to the point. Thanks for fixing my door.

I called at 8:30 AM due to a broken torsion spring. Aaron was at my house by 10:45, explained the various options and costs for the spring replacement, offered to upgrade the plastic rollers to better rollers with bearings and had all the work done in an hour, including cleaning up the door components and greasing things that needed it. I'm very happy with the service and love how much quieter it operates now. Thanks!

My garage door was opening and closing by itself. The next day, a technician found our 1995 opener's motherboard was exhausted. He gave us a few choices. We selected a new door opener with Wifi, and he put it in. He was really efficient and explained everything, including the Wi-Fi app setup. We prefer local home repair providers. This firm was a real find. Will definitely tell everyone about it!

Our garage door decided to stop closing the week of a hard freeze, and Veteran Garage Door Repair was out there the SAME DAY. Oscar had us fixed up in less than half an hour and was so patient because I had so many errands to run while he was here. He even noticed another cable fraying and fixed that for us. I was so grateful to get it fixed before the snow comes tomorrow and able to sleep peacefully knowing our garage door wasn't wide open all night. Very professional service with a kind expert! We'll definitely be calling them when our garage door kicks the bucket.

We had issues with our garage door operating correctly on a Saturday. Previous owners used Veterans so we called the number on the garage door decal. We recieved a same day appointment. The technician arrived on time and provided a clear explanation. He performed the repair promptly. The cost was reasonable along with several levels of extended warranties. I can highly recommend Veteran Garage Door Repair.

I contacted Veteran Garage Door Repair on Dec. 7th due to a broken spring. I agreed to a 3pm appointment. However, the office contacted me to ask if they could come earlier (at 2:30pm). I agreed. Later I received another call from the technician, Lance, informing me of his expected arrival. He came on time (if not a few minutes early, which I appreciate). Lance was professional, polite, and explained everything to me.
He assessed the problem quickly and had me back in operation about a half hour later. Lance emailed my receipt within minutes and I received a follow-up phone call from Derek regarding my experience/satisfaction. I informed him that I appreciate the follow-up phone call and how they treat their customers. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Veteran Garage Door Service.

It's very difficult to find a good, honest, and reputable service company for just about anything these days. Veteran Garage Door exceeded all of my expectations. From my initial service inquiry, they were polite and professional and kept their appointments as scheduled. No hard up-selling or unnecessary add-on work. Adam the tech was competent, knowledgeable, and efficient in his work. All parts, options, and warranty items were clearly explained before starting. From arrival to completion everything was done in less than an hour. I'm very impressed and won't hesitate to use them again when needed. I highly recommend this company!
