Our old garage door opener finally called it quits after 16 years. Called VGDR in Cypress late in the day and they were there the next day. Good communication during the call--everything was explained fully. The tech spent an hour trying to get the old one to work--no pressure to replace it. I appreciated that. Turns out the cost of repair was over half the cost of a new one--we went with the new one.
After it was in he spent quite a bit of time trying to get the old remotes to work with the new system--no joy but it was great to see the effort he put in With my Veteran's Discount, the cost was half of what we thought it would be. Also liked the follow-up call from the company to check on the repair and see if we had any questions. All in all, a class act. They are now on our list of home repair providers

Highly recommend! Worked quickly (45 min total) and the finished product was high quality. They don't try to upsell you or overcharge on anything - very transparent and fair with regards to pricing - and the goat, Sergio, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Earned my business on all future garage door needs!

I just got home from a motorcycle ride sitting in the house cooling off and heard this loud boom noise! Looked in the garage and seen the spring on the garage door broke in half. Called 3 different company's getting prices and when they could come and do the repair. Veterans Garage Door company came to the rescue gave me one of the best prices, and I had a Technician at my house in 45 minutes. The man they sent out was excellent and definitely knew what he was doing.
He had it repaired in like 20 minutes. And gave me some pointers/ maintenance I needed to do on the door that I could do myself. Great company I will definitely use them in the future. Thanks Trent G.
