The team at First Rate Roofing Services did an outstanding job! We needed our roof replaced due to a leak, and they tackled the project with incredible efficiency. They removed over three layers of roofingincluding cedar shakein under an hour! The entire replacement, including the house and garage, was done in just two days.
I was impressed with their smooth workflow, professionalism, and friendliness. They were easy to work with and made sure everything was cleaned up by the end of each day. We were especially grateful that they took care of some deteriorating fascia as well.

I was in the roofing business in Illinois so I know the business. I am too old to get on my roof any more so I called First Rate. The owner Ethan came out right away, gave me what I thought was a fair estimate for a repair. Within a week his repair guys did the job. They were extremely nice, courteous, and respectful. Did a great job. I got a follow up call from Ethan to make sure I was happy with the work before he billed me. Extremely professional company, I highly recommend them for any work needed.

My son referred us to First Rate; we needed a leak repaired that had already been "repaired" thru ANGI. Ethan came out to assess the job and provided an estimate. He scheduled the job for 11 days out. I received a call on January 3rd from his crew. They were finishing up another job in the area, and wanted to know if they might come by and do my job...a week ahead of time! They were quick and very professional. They did the repair exactly as Ethan had explained. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Awesome company! Ethan was extremely prompt at coming out and assessing the metal roof on my large shop that was leaking. He explained clearly what the problem was (all fasteners had worked loose over time) and was able to schedule his crew to come out within a week, even though they were clearly already busy. They were very professional and courteous, and completed the replacement of all fasteners in one day. At the completion of the job, Ethan sent 'before and after' photos of their work. I highly recommend Ethan and his entire crew for any roofing work you may have!!

I cannot measure my satisfaction with Ethan and his crew by just using the five stars. I had a portion of my roof blow off in a wind storm and after randomly picking First Rate off a Google search they overwhelmed my house. They were out there immediately to do a temporary patch while I worked with insurance. On the day I approved the invoice they actually had the permanent repair scheduled and completed before I even saw the response. They set my mind at ease in a situation that could have been stressful. Ethan is an authentic, trustworthy, professional, and reliable owner/operator.

First Rate Roofing... Name says it all!
They arrived at my house to fixes some leaks in my garage roof.
They removed all the affected areas replacing all the ice and water shield then replaced with the exact shingles. The did an impeccable job. They cleaned and inspected the entire roof fixing any other issues they came across. We had a big mess with moss and debris on one side of the house and they not only cleaned the roof they also treated the roof for the moss. Everywhere they were was completely and thoroughly cleaned up. Cannot thank them enough!

I inquired as to someone coming out to inspect my roof after my insurance wrote me a letter giving me a year to replace my roof or they would cancel me. Ethan came out the very same day and took a look. He was super helpful and answered all of my questions. I felt as though he was honest and not just trying to sell me a service. While he was up on the roof inspecting he even went out of his way to seal some areas up. If this is how he treats potential customers, I am sure that his customers are in great hands. I am sure to reach out in the future!

The hype is legit on First Rate Roofing Services and their handyman service subset as well! Not only did they help re-roof a section of our roof but they rebuilt the structure and built us a front yard fence! I have always been hesitant on hiring a company due to the quality I would be receiving for the amount paid. First Rate Roofing did an excellent job from the beginning to completion. The estimate, explanation of the work to be done, the installation and the clean up when all was completed. Completion was done ahead of schedule and no issues at completion. The crew was courteous, professional and very thorough. So overall their performance was above and beyond what I expected. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY! I highly recommend them. Ethan, the owner, answered my call the first time, was very knowledgeable, professional and understood that my roof leak was an issue that needed to be addressed immediately. He came out, inspected the whole roof, had it repaired within a week and was very reasonably priced. Other roofing companies never even called me back or were booked out for months. Roof repairs is what Ethan does. This will be the only company I use in the future for roof repairs!
