Heartland Home Builders, LLC was founded in 2009 by the wife and husband team of Johanna and Stephen Chandler. Heartland is based in Henderson, NC where the couple has made their home for the past 35 years. The Chandlers have two sons and four grandchildren and enjoy spending as much time with family as possible. Steve has worked in the housing industry his entire adult life, serving as president of the North Carolina Manufactured Housing Institute (NCMHI) and as president of that organization's board of directors.
