After meeting with several painters, we decided to use Gus and the Prep Painters team. We were incredibly impressed by his extensive knowledge, his thorough presentation, and his competitive pricing. Additionally, we were struggling to decide on the best color for our walls, and Gus came to the rescue for us. He has outstanding interior designers who will come to your house and offer color suggestions. FOR FREE. Gus also ordered the peel and stick paint samples for us (also FOR FREE) so that we could look at the colors for several days before making a decision. His level of service and thoughtfulness is unparalleled. The painting process of our living/dining space was equally impressive - the painters were thoughtful, detail-oriented,courteous, and always willing to answer our questions. When they were finished, they returned all our furniture and lamps to their proper spaces. Additionally, Gus walked with us throughout the entire area, looking in every nook and cranny to assure that we were happy with their work. (We were!) We have other areas of our home that we need to have painted, and we will 100 percent use Proper Prep Painters!

I would highly recommend Proper Prep Painters! I tried painting my doors black myself and ended up with an uneven, ashy finish on several of them. I reached out to Gus, and he was a man of his word sent Klen and a helper right away. They did an incredible job: no mess, beautiful results, and my doors look brand new. I honestly regret ever trying to do it myself. Ill definitely be using Proper Prep Painters again and referring them for all my future painting needs!

Just wanted to give a big shoutout to Gus and his painting crew they did an awesome job at our place this week! They painted several interior walls, did some detailed work around the windows, and took care of a bunch of touchups wed been meaning to get to for months.
Klen, who led the job, was great to work with super communicative, always checking in to make sure we were happy with how things were looking, and kept everything running smoothly. He and his helper were professional, polite, and clearly take pride in their work.

I hired Proper Prep Painters to repaint the interior of my home, and I honestly cant say enough good things about the experience. From the first phone call to the final walkthrough, Gus and his team were nothing but professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.
What impressed me most was how involved Gus was from day one. He came out personally to give the estimate no rushed walk-through or vague pricing. He took time to understand what I wanted, explained the prep process thoroughly, and even helped me think through a few design decisions I hadnt considered.
True to the name, their prep work was top-notch. They protected all the flooring and furniture, patched and sanded everything perfectly, and made sure the surfaces were completely ready before a single drop of paint went up. That extra effort showed in the final result clean lines, beautiful finishes, and not a single missed detail.
Gus was on-site regularly, checking in and making sure everything was up to his standards. His crew was respectful, showed up on time every day, and worked efficiently. The whole job was finished ahead of schedule, and the house looks brand new.
