They installed a Generlink generator transfer switch, which is a meter-based all-in-one unit. Brian, the owner, and James, the installer, we're very professional and helpful. They were on time and had the permit, coordinated Mid-American to be here to disconnect the power and reinstall the meter tamper ring. James took the time to explain to me and look at my generator to show me how it would work with the Generlink. I would recommend Blackhawk Electric.

Travis and Trevor did a great job, I had a 100 amp service ran out to my garage and they did an excellent job. Wiring up the new breakerbox in the garage and then cleaning everything up. was a very good experience, I would definitely recommend Black Hawk electric.

Amazing service! Travis was absolutely fantastic! Friendly and very knowledgeable! (Travis didn't complain or get upset about our loud, annoying dogs...thank you!) I went with Blackhawk Electric & Generators because they helped me understand what I was purchasing and the service I will be provided. I went with a 18kw generator and they supplied the EMP shields that I additionally wanted installed. I didn't have any doubts that I made the right decision with product and company.

Johan and Travis installed electrical and 3 ceiling fans in our home. The quote was fair and they arrived on time and both were very pleasant and knowledgeable. It was a big job (crawling in the attic insulation) and despite this they took the time to repair an issue they found in the attic unrelated to the fan installation. I highly recommend Blackhawk and frankly I wouldnt call anyone else based on my positive

My generator stopped working in the middle of a storm. I called at 7:30 am to see if someone could come out to LeClaire to help me. Luckily someone was in the area and by 8:30 am they had fixed the issue. They said a wire had gotten disconnected since they arent very tight coming from the factory. It was a simple fix so I was given a small discount on a price that was already less than I was expecting. The person who took my phone call and the technician were both incredibly nice and helpful. I will be using them for all future electrical work.
