Full-Service Electrical Contractor — Commercial, Residential, Industrial & Low Voltage

Paramount Electric Co. is a Clackamas, Oregon–based electrical contractor founded in 2011, built on management experience in the trade since 2001. We're licensed, bonded, and insured in Oregon and Washington (Oregon CCB 195783), and we run commercial and residential crews across the Portland metro and SW Washington every day — one accountable team from bid to final inspection.

Commercial Electrical Services
General contractors, owners, and developers hire us for ground-up new construction, fast-track tenant improvements, lighting and controls retrofits, electrical design coordination, utility and underground work, and ongoing service & maintenance. We bid quickly from plans with clarifications clearly listed, coordinate tightly with other trades, and build a first-pass inspection record — clean rough-ins, labeled panels, documented closeouts.

Industries We Serve
Hotels & hospitality (including brand conversions for Hilton, Marriott, Best Western, and IHG properties), senior care and assisted living, healthcare, multifamily and mixed-use, restaurants and commercial kitchens, retail and grocery, offices, schools, banks, auto dealerships, warehouses, and government & public works.

Residential Electrical Services
Homeowners throughout the Portland metro call us for electrical panel upgrades, meter replacements, home rewiring, remodel electrical, EV charger installation, standby generator installation, lighting, smoke and CO alarm wiring, troubleshooting, and repairs. Estimates are transparent and approved before work begins — and after-hours emergency electrical service is available 24/7.

Low Voltage & Technology
We self-perform structured cabling, security camera systems, access control, and audio/video alongside line-voltage work — fewer subcontractors to manage, tighter schedules, and one point of accountability.

Service Area
Portland, Clackamas, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Tualatin, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Oregon City, Gresham, and Milwaukie in Oregon; Vancouver, Camas, Ridgefield, and Battle Ground in Washington — with regional commercial projects taken across both states.

Questions
What areas do you serve?
The entire Portland metro, including Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Tualatin, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Oregon City, Clackamas and Gresham, plus SW Washington: Vancouver, Camas, Ridgefield and Battle Ground. We also take commercial projects across Oregon and up the I-5 corridor to Tacoma, Seattle and the Tri-Cities.
Do you do both commercial and residential work?
Yes. We handle commercial construction, tenant improvements, hotels, care facilities and industrial work, and we have a residential division for service calls, panel upgrades, remodels, generators and EV chargers.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency service?
Yes. Call (971) 471-7897 any time. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. After hours, calls go to our on-call team. If your whole neighborhood is out, call your utility. If it’s only your property, the problem is likely on your side of the meter, so call us.
How do I get a quote?
Homeowners can request service online at pmtelectric.com or by phone, and estimates are free. General contractors and owners can send plans and a bid due date through our Request a Bid form, and we’ll return a complete electrical bid with clarifications listed.
Are you an authorized Generac dealer?
Yes. We’re an authorized Generac dealer, installer and service company. We size, install, commission and maintain standby generators ourselves, which keeps the warranty clean. We also install transfer switches and inlets for portable generators.
Can my panel handle an EV charger?
We do a load calculation to find out. If capacity is tight, the options include a smaller charging circuit, a load-management device or a panel upgrade. Every charger we install is permitted and inspected.
How long does a panel upgrade take?
Most residential panel upgrades are done in one day on site. Power is off for several hours and restored the same day in nearly all cases. We handle the permit and utility scheduling.
Do you install solar and battery storage?
Yes. Our own licensed electricians design and install commercial and residential solar and battery systems, including the service work and utility interconnection, and we handle the incentive paperwork.
Can you help with energy rebates?
Yes. We’re an Energy Trust of Oregon Trade Ally. We include an incentive estimate with LED, lighting controls and other efficiency bids, and we handle the paperwork. For most commercial facilities, the energy assessment is free when we do the upgrades.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Paramount Electric Co. is a licensed, bonded and insured electrical contractor in both Oregon and Washington (OR CCB #195783). We’ve been in business since 2011 and have completed more than 7,500 projects.
