When we bought our century-and-a-h alf-old farmhouse in 1990, we loved its bucolic setting with 360 degrees of views of the surrounding farmland and the foothills of the Alleghenies. But, as in all old structures, the windows were uninsulated and small, and most of the house was dark. PWD has been the ideal solution to opening up our place to the scenery all around us even as we replaced old, drafty windows with heat-efficient insulated panes and expanded the square footage devoted to letting more light in. We now have over 250 square feet of PWD Andersen windows in our new kitchen, dining area, bedroom, and living room, and we have plans for more in the near future. Thank you, PWD, for helping us let in the light and get into more intimate contact with the surrounding beautiful countryside.
