Sean has spent his entire career in the green building industry. His interest was piqued in college, where he studied building systems & renewable energy, graduating with a B.S. in Sustainable Energy Management from SUNY-ESF (State University of New York - Environmental Sciences and Forestry). Upon graduation, Sean immediately started working with various low income energy efficiency programs, helping perform Energy Audits & Efficiency Retrofits for our most vulnerable population. Sean has designed & managed over 250 residential & commercial energy efficiency projects in Northern Colorado & Denver.
A Home Energy Audit is a service where the energy efficiency of a house is evaluated by a person using professional equipment (such as blower doors and infrared cameras), with the aim to suggest the best ways to improve energy efficiency in heating and cooling the house. Our new Code Compliance services include Hers Ratings, Blower Doors, & Energy Modeling. More and more municipalities are adopting the 2015 International Energy Compliance Code.
