Nordaas American Homes has been in business since 1949. Founded by Haakon Nordaas, a Norwegian immigrant, the company began designing and building custom homes throughtout the Upper Midwest. In 1989 Nordaas was purchased by long time employee Mike Redig. Along with his wife, Pat, Mike has seen the company continue to thrive. As President, Mike provides leadership to all of his employees and ensures that his customers are nothing but satisfied. Pat manages the newer aspect of the company, which handles all flooring, furnishings and home decor.

Nordaas American Homes is a custom home builder that designs and builds in the States of Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota and Nebraska. Our design center and showroom is located in Minnesota Lake, Minnesota. Nordaas provides a "no obligation" meeting to discuss design and pricing. This is a free service which allows a Nordaas Design/Sales Representative to stop by the building site, interact with customers, and design a plan with detailed specifications. This gives us the ability to present a guaranteed price on a custom designed plan where customer involvement is continually highlighted.

Nordaas American Homes has a specialized team of designers that will guide you through the renovation/addition process. The complete project course includes renovation/addition design and cabinet plans. Also, custom design consultations for home decor, furniture and interior finish selections are available.
