In 1989, Morris and Sandy Katz founded Katz Contracting, American Deck Co. in their home at the kitchen table. The company quickly grew out of a vision to deliver a local contractor who could always be found, would return calls, and above all, deliver a quality product. Many years and thousands of satisfied customers later, this vision has grown from two people at a kitchen table to a team of professionals with a showroom, offices, and full service wood shop. In 2017, the company was purchased by Jim DeLuca, with full intentions to continue its tradition of excellent workmanship and service that their many customers over the years have come to expect.
