We are a senior couple who are the only people in our home. We hired Lee Douglas folks in Omaha to help us with the decorating and furnishing of our new home in Omaha. In addition to $10,000 in furniture and accessories, we also purchased new drapes for all windows. In less than a year, several of the sheer panels developed flaws and, in some cases, actual holes. We emailed photos of the flaws/holes to them, and requested they come examine the panels in-person.

We expected they would repair or replace the damaged panels promptly and without disagreement. Instead, they told us such flaws were normal in the sheers we'd purchased (the ones they recommended to us), and/ or were due to normal wear and tear. They also told us a process by which we could (supposedly) remove the flaws. After several follow-up communications, their answer remained the same. Subsequently, we filed a BBB complaint, which produced a similar reply from Lee Douglas.

In their several responses, Lee Douglas said their specialist in this area was able to repair such flaws using the techniques they had described to us. We invited them to bring the specialist to our home to demonstrate the process, but that was not agreed to. In frustration, we ultimately accepted a payment from them of $40.00 simply to bring the matter to an end. BOTTOM LINE: WE'D HAD A VERY PLEASANT AND SATISFACTORY EXPERIENCE WITH LEE DOUGLAS UP UNTIL THIS POINT. WE WERE AMAZED, AND VERY DISAPPOINTED, THAT THEY DID NOT JUST FIX OUR PROBLEM WILLINGLY. WE WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE ELSE.
