Incorporated in 1952, Robinson Export-Import Corporation (Reico) was organized to distribute plywood and hardboard made in Finland to the Baltimore-Washington area. These products were sold primarily to manufacturers of kitchen cabinets, furniture and store fixtures. The core business changed in 1976 when Reico became a wholesale distributor of Merillat cabinets. Through innovative services such as in-depth inventories, next day delivery and world class customer service, Reico experienced tremendous growth and quickly became the supplier of choice to industry professionals.
