Individual photovoltaic (PV) cells are connected to make a PV solar panel. Panels are connected to create a solar array, which which can be located on your roof or ground. The size of this system is measured in kilowatts (kW), which is determined by panel wattage and number of panels. This system will convert sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity, which travels through wires to an inverter that will convert it to usable alternating current (AC) electricity. Your solar system size is designed based on your electricity usage, desired energy offset goals, available roof or ground space, and budget.

Whether you have a small retail shop or a large manufacturing facility, solar is a great option to help you meet your sustainability goals and provide a strong return on your financial investment. SunVest will evaluate your available roof and ground space, electricity consumption, and budget to tailor a system that best meets your needs. Plus, some states offer additional incentives, such as Solar Renewable Energy Credits in Illinois or a Focus on Energy cash rebate in Wisconsin. Depending on the state you live in, financing options may be available, including a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) or lease.
