Axium Solar was conceived when founder, Bob Kendrick, decided to build an eco-friendly home. During the planning and construction phase, Bob was approached by many who had questions about his solar-panel system. What does it cost? What are the benefits? How does it work? It was then, that Bob saw the opportunity to educate others on renewable energy and provide turn-key solar solutions to those overwhelmed by the industry's current offerings. Bob's passion for renewable energy aligned with President & Chairman of The Board Yvonne Cordell's growing concern about the volatility of traditional energy sources.

Our team is comprised of registered electricians, who are OSHA & NFPA 70E certified, with OSHA 510 certified staff on-hand. Axium Solar is a turnkey engineering, procurement and construction contractor for utility-scale solar. We are a one-stop resource that handles design, civil, mechanical and electrical scope all under one contract. We also have a dedicated O&M team that can provide ongoing preventative maintenance and service support to ensure that the system delivers the desired returns to the project owner.

Yvonne's business savvy and entrepreneurial drive comes from years in the trenches as a corporate sales executive for a leading insurance provider.

Amicus Solar Cooperative was founded in 2011 when a small group of friendly solar installation companies decided it was time to form a special organization so that independent businesses could support each other by sharing best practices and pooling their buying power. Amicus is a purchasing cooperative that is jointly owned and democratically managed by our member companies.
