Litehouse began through the sale of residential and commercial chlorine chemicals, including high quality concentrated chemicals distributed to residential swimming pool owners and commercial operators. By 1965, the company had rapidly expanded into many other areas of the swimming pool industry, including swimming pool maintenance and construction. This expansion led the first opening of a full-service retail store in Berea, Ohio in 1967. As our customers' needs grew, we expanded our selections to meet those needs by offering a complete line of Swimming Pools, Maintenance Equipment, Chemical, and Chemical-Free Treatment Systems and a HUGE selection of Toys and Accessories.

Paint, stain, or clear sealer can be applied to the pergola. We recommend it is done at the factory so this task is avoided after it is installed. It is not recommended to add any finish coat to pressure-treated pine until it has fully dried. This can take several months. Depending upon the desired look, the pergola can be zero maintenance and will "weather" over time. If you want to keep a "luster" to the pergola, then it will be necessary to add paint, sealer, or stain as needed. This can vary from 2-5 years.
