Our groundskeepers start out the season by clearing planting beds of accumulated leaves, debris, and weeds. We cut back perennials and ornamental grasses. Prior to mulching, we redefine beds and tree rings to create definition between turf, planting beds, tree rings, and hardscape areas. We apply pre-emergent herbicide to all specified lawn areas in late winter or early spring to control the germination of annual grass weeds (such as crabgrass) and other annual weeds. We recommend horticultural pruning and shaping to ensure optimum health and appearance of your valuable ornamental trees and shrubs.
