In 1909, George L. Barden and Roscoe J. Robeson began producing wooden wagon wheel hubs and spokes in the small Finger Lakes town of Penn Yan. Over the decades the Barden & Robeson Corporation evolved with its surroundings to offer customers bushel baskets, baby furniture, ammunition crates, and even an experimental motor boat that could be folded into its own trailer (we're told that these are quite rare and collectable). In the late 40's focus shifted to pioneering a new, better way to build a home.

For over 70 years, Barden has provided 100% customizable buildings to our customers. In addition to working with homeowners to create their dream homes, we also excel at commercial and church projects. With our state of the art design and manufacturing process, there are no limitations to what we can create. Founded in 1947, Alside is a leading manufacturer of vinyl siding and accessories, vinyl windows and patio doors, and fencing and railing products for the residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets.
