In selecting a builder, we know you have many choices and the selection process can be a bit overwhelming at times. But the reasons to select Al Belt to build your new home are pretty simple: superior craftsmanship, outstanding value, and extraordinary customer service. Superior construction practices means your new home will be trouble-free and low-maintenance for generations to come. From the floor to the ceiling and everywhere in between, Al Belt Custom Homes are more reliable and more comfortable because they incorporate the best proven construction materials and techniques.

On September 20 one of Al Belt's subcontractors backed over my dog in a private driveway and left. Thanks to an eyewitness and a caring neighbor he was rushed to the vet. His pelvis was completely separated from his spine, his underside and legs severely bruised and was in shock. He required 2 surgeries to reattach his spine and remove the large patch of dead tissue caused by the truck pulling him under the wheel. He is still recovering. When I contacted Al Belt Homes I spoke with Brian Wilson, his representative who apologized and stated he would get to the bottom of it and the least they could do was help pay for the cost. He asked me for my address to send a note. I never received anything. When I emailed Mr. Belt with details of the incident, photos of my dogs extensive injuries and copies of the over $4900 worth of vet bills his response was that he was very sorry and that Brian had already apologized. He also stated that his employees are very good people and they take great pride in what they do. I beg to differ Mr. Belt. A good employee would have contacted me personally to apologize, see how my dog was doing and perhaps offer to take some of the financial responsibility. A good business owner would have done the same. If this was a mailbox or car you backed into on someone's personal property my guess is you would take responsibility. You may build a good home but perhaps your character is what you should be building.

This company fails to take responsibility for a contractor driving over a dog in a driveway while working for their company. They were contacted and have done nothing except offer an apology. The dog had extensive injuries and vet bills. Sorry doesn't cut it. When you break a plate on the ground, do you think if you say sorry to it that it fixes the plate? Get it together, Al Belt.

Great builder, doesn't cut corners, quality materials, personal service!

What's new?

Come out this weekend and tour this beautiful 2-story in Ashbury Creek! Open Saturday & Sunday 1-4 PM.
