By 2030, there will be about 72.1 million adults 65 years or older, which is more than twice the number as in 2000. This dramatic increase will place stresses on our assisted care infrastructure, result in more individuals wanting to stay in their current homes and increase the need for the use of technology to achieve true Living in Place.
