Handmade Rugs
Our hand-knotted wool and wool-silk rugs combine centuries-old craftsmanship with modern designs. Each piece undergoes rigorous quality checks to ensure durability and artistry. Available in traditional medallion patterns, bold contemporary styles, and antique pieces dating back 100 years, these rugs naturally resist stains while maintaining heirloom quality.
Antique Rugs
We curate authentic antique rugs that once adorned grand homes from the 1920s era. These historical pieces showcase intricate weaving techniques passed through generations. Each rug receives professional preservation care while maintaining original patina. Ideal for collectors seeking investment-grade textiles with provenance and character.
Rug Cleaning
Professional cleaning services use gentle methods suited for handwoven textiles. Our technicians handle wool and silk blends with pH-neutral solutions, completing most jobs within 1-2 weeks. We recommend professional cleaning every 10-15 years to maintain fiber integrity while offering pickup assistance for oversized pieces.
Rug Repair
Our specialists assess damage and provide restoration estimates for frayed edges, moth holes, or worn foundations. Using matching materials, we reinforce structural integrity while preserving original designs. Minor repairs often complete during routine visits, with complex restorations receiving detailed project timelines.
Appraisal Services
Certified appraisals document rug value for insurance or resale purposes. Our experts examine knot density, material composition, and historical significance through hands-on inspections. We provide written documentation with photographic records, charging only a nominal fee for this specialized service.
