I started my business from scratch in late 1998. And I mean scratch! I was 23 years old and looked about 19. I purchased a few tools on a credit card and practically begged people to give me a chance. Sometimes I didn't think it would work out and even looked for a job at times. But with a lot of determination and family support I have steadily built my business from working alone to having as many as 12 full time employees. There are many excellent household tile cleaners on the market today. They should all do a good job for you as long as you read and follow the manufacturer's instructions and recommended usage. They will perform as promised, if you use them as directed. They include such cleaners as Spic & Span, 409, and Greased Lightning. Scouring powders which are readily available include Comet, Bon Ami, and Ajax. Nylon scouring pads may also be used (such as Scotch Brite), but steel wool pads or any other course are not recommended.
