How can Main Line Kitchen Design offer both the best kitchen designs along with the most competitive kitchen cabinet pricing? Our expert kitchen designers meet customers by appointment only in our offices, instead of a large showroom open to the general public. We display the cabinet lines we sell under glass countertops so customers can see how our cabinetry is constructed. Customers can view hundreds of sample doors and and sample finishes and see 3d renderings of their future kitchen on flat screen TV's.

Main Line Kitchen Design only sells cabinetry that is all wood construction — NO furniture or particle board. All drawers are solid wood with dovetail construction. All drawer tracks are full extension with a buffered soft close feature. Soft close doors will either come standard or can be added to any cabinetry we sell. Main Line Kitchen Design also gives all the cabinetry we sell a limited lifetime warranty. We are able to provide higher grade cabinetry at prices that are less expensive than brands sold elsewhere because we don't maintain a staffed showroom.

First, we cover any questions you have over the phone. Usually we can give you a close approximation of what you are likely to spend on your kitchen by simply asking you a few important questions. If you would like to proceed, we charge you a $150 deposit. For this deposit our expert designer will measure your kitchen, transfer the measurements to their computer and create your individual kitchen design. And at a second 2 hour appointment they will go over the detailed 3D designs with you. At our second meeting we display and go over our completed designs and make changes to them on our laptops with you present.

Designing kitchens for many years also means helping people avoid costly mistakes. Research and forethought can go a long way. That's why we've compiled a few blog posts on the subject of kitchen design mistakes. Knowing what not to do is half the battle. Take a look at the articles below, and learn how to avoid mistakes that can be easy to make, and costly to fix. President of Main Line Kitchen Design, Paul McAlary gave an informative and humorous speech about the potential dangers of kitchen design.

Mainline Kitchen Design works with a number of premium cabinet makes in order to bring out the best in any space. The brands we choose to work with are made from quality materials and built to last. A lot goes in to deciding what cabinets to buy. Not only are you looking for a product that matches your taste, but you also need to look for cabinets built with the right techniques and materials. All Plywood construction, without any particleboard, solid wood drawers with dovetail construction, and full-extension soft close tracks and soft close doors are a few of the features that set a premium cabinet apart from the imitators.

Here is a our Link to recent reviews from Customer Lobby where customers can review us on our website. After meeting with numerous kitchen design companies, we choose to work with Paul and Main Line Kitchen Design in late Spring 2011. Paul presented us with not only the most cost efficient option but also was very knowledgeable and willing to work with us. When we were initially looking for a kitchen designer we thought we wanted someone with a showroom and who would act as a project manager. However, we quickly learned that neither a showroom nor project manager was necessary.

Designing a kitchen is a fun and sometimes intimidating process. Selecting new cabinets is a big decision you'll have to live with for years to come. Our designers come into every job ready to work with clients to bring them the kitchen of their dreams, and that's no small task. Sometimes homeowners know exactly what they want to see. Other times, things are bit more open. In any case, the design process always goes through several versions before work begins. As experts in kitchen design, and partners with some of America's most trusted kitchen cabinets, we've been providing residents of Philadelphia and the surrounding communities with unbeatable results and memorable kitchens that will last for years and years.

The Main Line Kitchen Design business model enables us to give our customer's better designs, and better made cabinetry for slightly less than the cost at other showrooms and even home centers. Because we use an office to display our 8 different brands of cabinets with all of their door styles and finishes and do not have complete displays of kitchen vignettes, this saves on overhead. We also are not open to the general public and so we do not need to pay for staffing a showroom and answering questions for people possibly many years away from renovating their kitchens.
