Coblentz Custom Cabinets moved from upper Michigan to Central Virginia, nestled between Charlottesville, Richmond and Lynchburg VA in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We work out of our shop in Amherst Virginia and cover orders from Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Michigan and the Mid-Atlantic. I grew up in Hartville Ohio, the typical Amish boy on a dairy farm. I began pounding nails at an early age as I helped my father build stalls for horses. Dad is a skilled carpenter as well as farmer and he taught us boys to build our own gun cases and pigeon lofts.

Coblentz Custom Cabinets' kitchens are built in a variety of styles from high end full overlay and inset style, to the more standard 1/2" or 3/4" overlay. Or the more traditional lip or 3/8 inset door. We use a two part conversion varnish, with a chemical resistance second to none. We can color match to your favorite color in stain or paint, offering full or partial glaze on either stain or paint, and top coated with conversion varnish for durability. Coblentz Custom Cabinets offers dovetailed drawer boxes in solid Maple, (or other species) as well as the more economical Baltic Birch Dovetailed drawers.

When we create design bathroom vanities and linen closets, we want to use all the space that is available in the most efficient way. We also offer hampers and pull out shelves to make it easier to keep things in order. From free standing furniture like vanities, to tub surround panels to match the cabinets, we are interested in creating an atmosphere for generations to enjoy.

What's new?

Thank you all for your patience with us as we begin 2017 in a new part of the US. For those of you who don't know, we moved from Michigan to Virginia in the last six months, and are now in the process of building a shop and setting up tools once more. We hope to be up and running efficiently by early spring, at the latest. There are a few kitchens in Michigan that we'll be doing, Lord Willing, so we look forward to seeing a few of our Michiganders while in the area. Until then, thank you for..
