Consumer alert! do not call this company. Had one of their technician (Ken) respond and tried to determine why my unit was not hitting it's target temperature ( 1900 square foot house could not be cooled to 70 degrees) and why the condensing unit would arbitrarily shut down and not come back on. He couldn't figure the basics out and said that maybe the placement of the thermostat, which has been in the same location for 10 years and worked fine up until the last couple of weeks (really). I then suggested a circuit board was bad and he agreed to order the part. Meanwhile the house will not cool below 76 degrees. I then had a "field supervisor" from Ruton call me and say that they were not going to follow up and he stated that he stands behind his technician. I told him I believe that standing by your technician is good but don't be so subjective that you can't see when a technician is not forthcoming. He yelled at me and said he was cutting off the call because I called his technician a liar. WOW! what public relations that is. Unfortunately I didn't get his name, just his title. I think the technician and the company can't figure out the problem and are afraid to tackle it. WORST company I have ever dealt with in my 56 years. DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT call this company.
