Heat pump units are a great way to heat your home or business. They expend a small amount of energy to produce heat and usually utilize the same pump or compressor that the air conditioning unit uses. We will be able to service your residential or commercial property's heat pump unit at a reasonable price, and if you do need to install a new one, we promise to provide you with a cutting-edge model designed to last for years to come.

Leaking or broken faucets can be very annoying, not to mention the water they waste dripping down your drains. Faucet repairs can be as simple as tightening a few fittings, or as complex as rebuilding the entire faucet assembly. Many times it is best to replace an old faucet with a brand a new one. Beware of the urge to do-it-yourself, however. It may look simple, but the confined space under and behind most sinks requires special tools. The same goes for in-wall assemblies in most showers and tubs.

When it comes to getting rid of unwanted mess in the kitchen, they seem to take care of all the dirty work for us. Yet should we really be relying on our garbage disposals for everything? Having a broken garbage disposal can be a huge pain. However, with proper use and some routine maintenance, a garbage disposal (or disposer) can last for many years. On the other hand, when the device is finally worn out or broken, it can lead to slow or clogged drains and a foul smell from kitchen waste. Keep reading for everything you need to know about garbage disposal care, and make sure you call Rainforest Plumbing & Air when you need expert garage disposal repair in Phoenix.

Having a sewer line free of clogs and leaks is important to you as a homeowner, not only as a matter of convenience, but also as a matter of health and safety. Most parts of the East Valley could be described as being urban and/or suburban, rather than rural. This means that homes and businesses are closely packed together. In these areas, it becomes feasible to construct a sewer system to handle a large amount of wastewater that is produced by the community. As a result, it is even more important to have a plumbing company on hand that knows how to handle residential sewer lines.

A boiler is an appliance used to heat water for hydronic heating systems-i.e. a system that uses water as the primary heat transfer method. These systems take the hot water from your boiler to spread heat throughout your space by piping it into different rooms and dispersing it through various types of radiators. Once the radiator is heated with the hot water, the water is returned to the boiler to be re-heated and then the circulation process can continue. Though rare in Arizona, boilers need general maintenance and periodic repairs in order to keep them functioning well.

People don't know Phoenix, AZ for its chilly temperatures. In fact, just the opposite is true. When most people think of HVAC service and Phoenix together, the think about the importance of air conditioning. This is why Rainforest Plumbing & Air proudly provides heating services in Phoenix, Mesa, and across the greater East Valley.

Leaking pipes located under the ground are more likely to occur than you might think. But the cause of an underground slab leak isn't always readily apparent. The ground under your foundation slab can become quite unstable over time, and settling frequently occurs due to the weight of the overlying structure and the properties of the soil. Saturation can take place, causing the ground to "sag" with increased weight. This is one cause, but there are other reasons that slab leaks occur, too. Tree roots can move pipes around.

Here in the East Valley, there are many homes that have basements. Basements are popular as they provide a cooler place in the house during those scorching summer months. However, because basements are - obviously - below ground level, sewage and wastewater can't always drain properly on properties that have them. In these cases, your plumbing system requires a special pump called a "sump pump." At Rainforest Plumbing & Air, we provide excellent sump pump repairs in Phoenix, Mesa, and across the greater East Valley area.

Furnaces are a common and effective tool for heating homes with natural gas, and can even be found right here in the Valley of the Sun. Septic systems are underground wastewater, or "graywater" treatment structures, most prevalently found in rural areas without a centralized sewer. These systems use a combination of nature and developed technology to treat water from your bathrooms, kitchen drains, and laundry. They primarily hold water that is cleaner that sewage, or "blackwater, " but is still classified as waste runoff produced by your household plumbing system. However, in some parts of the East Valley, septic systems are relied upon for sewage, drain water, and all wastewater management.

A clogged or slow drain can immediately put a halt to your home activities. And not only are drain clogs a real nuisance when it's just your family, they can also be especially embarrassing if your drain happens to clog up as you are entertaining guests. Various kinds of drain pipe cleaners are available on the market and should be there in the homes for emergency situations. Please note, however, that some off-the-shelf drain cleaning products can damage pipes and should only be used for very "light-duty" drain cleaning situations.

Our toilet flooded yesterday in our new home after we ran one load in our new washer and dryer we received last night. Our tech was Matthew Bennion and he was an absolute pleasure to work with! He kept us up to date on everything he was doing and tried to keep his visit short since it was a weekend emergency service however, given that we have an older house and plumbing was set up weirdly it took him a little longer to get everything working again. He was very polite, great customer service, and would highly recommend working with him!

Man... I don't even know where to start. I've used rainforest twice now and they were terrible both times. Thought the first time might have been a fluke, but not the case. Both times they showed up late and only gave me 30 min notice of when they were coming... they couldn't even give a ball park estimate of when they were coming out. It was like they were expecting me to sit at home all day and wait for them to come out. I even called in the morning and couldn't get an answer out of them. Also this time their guys come in and reek of cigarettes and left my apartment smelling for hours. They did fix the problem both times, but definitely would not recommend using rainforest... extremely disappointed with my two experiences with them.

After being away for the weekend, we arrived home to find that the AC had quit. In true AC failure fashion, this happened on a Sunday night during an "Extreme Heat Warning". (Isn't that always the case?) As the temperature inside soared to an unbearable 90 degrees, we called almost 20 companies looking for the quickest appointment possible. Most--even those advertising 24 hour emergency service--didn't even respond. We called Rainforest early Monday morning. The tech was here at 10:00 that same day. He was clean, congenial, knowledgeable, expedient and empathetic. The price was fair and they honored a military veteran discount which was great (every penny helps!). The problem was identified and fixed with new parts within 90 minutes. I'm happy to report that I'm writing this review from my 70-degree kitchen!

When reading reviews I realize that people tend to toss 5-star ratings around like extra confetti at a New Year's Eve party. They can be exaggerated, scattered everywhere, piled high and sometimes lack true substance. This rating is real. Call these people. They are professional, reliable and quick. I'm grateful.

Rob showed up within an hour after we called 5 other companies which told us that they were not able to come the same day. The problem was a clogged drain, we could not wait and were happy that they took care of it right away. Rob was very professional, polite and courteous. The charges were reasonable.

We could not be happier with our experience with RainForest Plumbing. From first contact with the office, through completion and payment after the service. They listened well to our problem as our drain pipes in both bathrooms leaked under the sink. Jose came out to inspect and give us an estimate for the work. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I like that they send a picture of the plumber that will be coming to your home. We compared their estimate with a few others and found the quote to be reasonable. Some others never called us back.

The next day, Gerardo came to do the work and we were very pleased with his expertise and care in making quick work of replacing the makeshift metal drain pipes with solid modern pipes. The sink hardware matched our faucets perfectly. He made sure we were happy and let us know we could just call the office to pay. Marilyn at the office was also extremely pleasant. A big deal, to us, is that both Jose and Gerardo were on time for the appointments. That doesn't happen very often these days! We won't hesitate next time we need any plumbing work.

Rainforest was very easy to book late on a Sunday night through their website. Erik contacted me to see if I was available earlier than scheduled on Monday morning. He quickly recognized the problem and returned with parts needed to fix my toilet. The fees were fair. Will be using Rainforest Plumbing in the future.

BJ called to confirm my home address, let me know how far out he was and arrived right on time. He was quick to diagnose problem and fix without a problem. I use Rainforest for me business as well and they have always been trustworthy and efficient. Thanks Ike for running a tight ship and a team that exemplifies excellence!

I'm legitimately shocked they have such a low rating on Yelp. My air conditioning went out and the first company I called, who have a 5.0 rating, told me that it was a single actuator that was bad and would be $2500 to fix. I then proceeded to have Brian from Rainforest come out to look at it. He thoroughly checked the system and showed me that the actuator did open and close but the coils were clogged and the whole thing had to be replaced.

The manager Randy came out and looked at it for a quote on replacement. The total replacement brand new was $3450, versus the $2500 for the previously quoted part. After agreeing, the tech Felipe came out to replace the whole unit. He completely stripped it down and rebuilt it, and the system was rapidly cooling my condo when he left. These guys were experts in dealing with this chiller and did a phenomenal job.

The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5, was due to the exorbitant diagnostic fee of $267.95. I would have been ok with the cost of it, if it had been applied to the repairs, but that wasn't offered. Feels a little like nickel and diming.

We moved into our new house, and on day one as we went to hook up the fridge, we thought the valves might be trouble. Same with the washer valves. Having no clue what this would cost, and not wanting to wait too long to let our food spoil and the laundry pile up, I looked up rainforest plumbing and air. I've seen their trucks around, heard of the company here and there, but never worked with them before. I figured why not!
Cian was our tech, he was able to come same day which was perfect. We were quoted before work began, and were promised "no surprises" which was exactly what we got. We thought the quote seemed a little expensive, but have no knowledge of what valve change typically costed or entailed, so we trusted Cian and Rainforest. It took Cian a few hours to do the work, we thought the pricing made sense based on how much time he took and care went into it. He was super pleasant to have in the home, seemed trustworthy and knowledgeable. I would work with this company and tech again! Overall we're very pleased, so 5-stars from us!

I am a property manager and I have used Rainforest for several apartment communities through the past several years. That is why they are receiving 3 stars. The technicians are always very nice and efficient. I probably have 10 monkeys because the service rep comes by often. Thanks Kade!

Why not 5 stars? Because I called to get pricing information about how I'm having new counter tops installed this weekend at my personal home, and I needed information about having a plumber there to disconnect the kitchen sink/bathroom sinks during the install. The lady on the phone said she can't give me pricing information, that I would need to have them come over to the house before the job for an estimate. Okay... then she didn't offer to schedule anything, just sat there saying nothing. So I thanked her for her time and hung up.

I have several plumbing approved vendors I can use at the buildings I manage.... maybe I need to look elsewhere since it seems the customer service level is different for single home owners vs. multifamily.
