Our Austin tree trimming service provides only the highest quality trimming to International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) standards. Trimming needs are assessed based on tree safety, general overall tree health and, of course, catered to fit your budget. Cleanup is done on the same day using chipper machines and large enclosed dump trucks called "chip trucks." Mulch is available free of charge based on location and availability. Without a doubt, standard maintenance Austin tree trimming is the most widely practiced and well known, not to mention time-consuming, aspect of tree care.

Trees add to the value of a home and a neighborhood, provide shade, temperature reduction and overall beauty. This is why it is key you hire the right company the first time. While price is certainly important, it should never be the sole deciding factor when hiring a solid, local tree care company. Our mission is to provide the highest quality tree service for the greatest value in a way that continually exceeds our customers' expectations. Whether you need tree trimming (pruning), or the simplest or most challenging tree removal, no job is too big or too small.

Are you wondering what to do about an unwanted tree stump? Stump grinding is the most efficient and cost-effective stump removal practice. A highly specialized machine called a stump grinder is used to grind the stump below the grade level. Essentially, the stump is turned into sawdust mixed with soil. Most stumps are just ground to 6 or so inches below grade level. In some cases, smaller stumps can be completely ground away. A stump grinder is essentially a belt driven, gas powered machine with a spinning wheel at the business end.

When it comes to local companies providing tree care, there are just way too many. Why? Because there's absolutely no regulation required: no arborist certification, no insurance and no city or state requirements or regulations. This lack of regulation has led to the practice of improper pruning and a host of immoral salespeople. This scenario can wreak havoc on the homeowner's valuable trees. We often joke that trees cannot run away. So they can't escape the negative effects of improper pruning.

Ourcommercial property tree careservices extend to shopping centers, homeowners associations, business parks, municipal sites and more. Care of trees on commercial properties is often an afterthought. But it shouldn't be. Proper tree care and maintenance can help enhance the overall look and appeal of the property, help lower utility costs and provide valuable shade to tenants and visitors. Having your property's trees cared for by a knowledgeable, certified and insured service is key. At Central Texas Tree Care, we pride ourselves on giving commercial property management and owners confidence that the property's trees are being cared for in a reliable, effective and competitively priced manner.

Central Texas Tree Care has installed hundreds of cables in Austin area trees over the last 10 years and I am very proud of our record. Our highly trained and experienced staff properly installs more cables each year than just about any other local tree care company. Cabling and bracing trees are scientifically approved methods for supporting trees with split crotches, or for trees that have limbs or crotches that are predisposed to failure. We follow the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) standards for tree cabling called the ANSI (American National Standards Institute, Inc.) A300 standards for supplemental support systems.

At Central Texas Tree Care we pride ourselves on affordable, competitively priced quality tree services. We give our customers the attention to detail larger companies often overlook. Experienced and knowledgeable: Co-owned and operated by Andrew Johnson, a graduate of Virginia Tech's School of Forestry, Andy is a certified arborist with morethan 20years of professional field experience. Reliable:At Central Texas Tree Care, we pride ourselves on continually exceeding our customers' expectations.

Deep root fertilization is often the single most effective way to maintain healthy trees in high traffic environments. Coupled with constant yearly mulching to the root zone and of course proper irrigation, a yearly fertilization program goes a long way toward helping maintaining general tree health. Trees become more drought tolerant and disease resistant when fertilized properly. At Central Texas Tree Care, we use a granular, slow-release fertilizer that is injected into the root zone at a one year rate.

Got rid of two half dead Cyprus and really cleaned up my oak trees. I highly recommend them. On time arrival. Fair prices and friendly crew. They have.

What's new?

Spring is in the air! Trees are about to flush out and the growth will be heavy this year due to all the rain we have been getting this year so far and last year. We are available for pruning estimates, and our tree fertilizer program is the best in the business. Please call our office or email us for a free quote!
