As a licensed tree service, tree removal is one of the most dangerous jobs that we take on in the Colorado Springs area. Our customers often comment that we make it look easy, but it is definitely not an easy task. Taking down a sixty foot tree that weighs over two tons with houses, fences, and wires all around can be a challenge for the mind and the body. We first started removing storm damaged trees in 1998 after an ice storm hit the east coast. Since then we have seen and worked in just about every situation imaginable: trees on top of other trees, houses, power lines, vehicles, and trees on fire.

We operate mainly in the Colorado Springs area and continue to build our business by providing excellent customer service, competitive estimates and quality tree care. Improper pruning methods, by unskilled arborists with unsanitised tools, can prevent a tree from healing properly and lead to the spread of certain diseases. We at Advanced Tree Services LLC realize that most trees will inevitably outlive us and we make every effort to preserve this.

Very happy with our experience. They were friendly, fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend. Also very reasonable in price. They did a great job!

Thanks for taking down our trees. We were worried about the power lines but you guys were great in making sure they didn't hit the lines or the house.

What's new?

Maybe most of us want to forget it, but 2020 was a roller coaster ride for most people. At times it felt like the tracks had been broken and we were definitely going to crash. Several times last year I thought we would be going out of business. The emotional and psychological turmoil was overwhelming at times. And somehow we managed to keep going. Each time we bounced back from the edge of destruction, I was eternally grateful. It was heartbreaking to see so many people lose their jobs...

Many trees are not leafing out this year due to frost damage. Do not cut them down or cut off limbs. Most trees will recover from frost damage over time. My golden rule is this.. If the branch bends and is pliable, it is still alive. If it breaks it is dead. I have looked at dozens of trees that didn’t leaf out. We have yet to cut one down.

I can't tell you how thankful I am that we are still allowed to work and we still have work coming in. I have faced so many challenges over the last 2 years and I really thought it was going to come to an end so many times. And somehow, by the grace of God, we are still working. It's unbelievable. I will give back as much as I can because that's what I need to do.

These are some tough times. If your trees have suffered storm damage over the last couple days and the area isn’t safe, and of course you’re out of work like most people right now... Give us a call and we will make the area safe for little or no cost. We will not be doing any cleanup. We don’t want people getting out on ladders and taking excessive risks because money is tight. 719-464-4625
