We have extensive experience in the proper cleanup and disposal techniques related to sewage backups, biohazardous materials, and death scene cleanup. We have been the provider of choice for numerous public and private schools in the area, as well as area hospitals and medical facilities. Our procedures follow the remediation protocols used in public schools. Contracting services are provided by Firewater Construction Services, Inc (License CGC061453). The license-holder, George F. Wilson, has been a Class A General Contractor in Florida for nearly forty years, and a Marco Island resident for more than thirty years.
Our specialized training in fire and smoke damage goes back twenty years to the Unsmoke Restoration Sciences Academy in Pittsburgh, PA. We have worked with most area fire departments and know how to preserve the fire scene as needed, but perform needed emergency services as well. These services usually include water extraction, removal of permanently damaged materials, and preservation of the salvageable structure and contents. Firewater always has a trained, professional manager on site, experienced in all phases of damage mitigation.
Firewater has several state licensed Mold Remediators on staff. Our managers are formally trained in mold assessment and remediation. We have worked in area schools, hospitals, medical facilities, dental facilities, as well as old and new homes. Actually, we have worked in almost any type of structure you can name! Our project managers will professionally guide you through the mold remediation process, and answer your questions based on our decades of experience in Southwest Florida. What we DO NOT do, however, is attempt to "scare" our clients into unnecessary work.
