The story of this family owned business began about 60 years ago when tile setting master craftsman Richard Stark founded a tile company in Wimmental, a small town in Southern Germany. Richard's son Werner followed in his father's footsteps by placing second in a national tile setting competition and later receiving his master's degree in tile setting. Werner Stark became CEO of his family's company in the early 1980s. Life changed in 1986 when Werner followed his lifelong dream of moving to America.

Before technological advancements in the field of stone fabrication, countertop templates were created by cutting and laying out thin wooden strips over areas where stone would be installed. At Ceramic Harmony, we use state-of-the-art templating technologies that enable exact point placement of an area. This creates digital templates and ensures a custom, snug fit for stone pieces. These digital templates can also be used without a digital slab layout system. Clients can virtually lay out their templates on the actual stone slabs to be cut.
