The iconic enclosure of the United States Olympic Museum requires multiple quality control tools which were created and implemented by GE Johnson throughout construction of the exterior skin. With the complexity and interface of multiple materials, there were multiple levels of verification of as-built conditions including scans, a heatmap tolerance report with the scan and fabrication model, a variance log, and as-built points converted to 3D elements. These tools used harmoniously helped to provide the project team with a full, in depth, quality control review.
