As a Construction Manager, we protect the client/owner's interests with subcontractors and suppliers throughout the build. This allows the CM and client/owners to align objectives, which include the best price and the right subcontractors or suppliers, therefore minimizing any additional "cost of work." During the pre-construction/design phase, making decisions early in the process has the greatest impact on keeping the build on schedule and within budget; positioning the owner to make good decisions, maximizing the use of construction dollars.
