A New Leaf Tree Services is a year-round, fully insured tree services company providing quality tree care and treatment to Southeastern Wisconsin, with its primary focus being on Waukesha & Milwaukee Counties. We are centrally located in Sussex. As the owner of a previous award-winning tree service, the owner is very knowledgeable and experienced in the tree service field. A New Leaf Tree Service has certified arborists who specialize in tree services including tree trimming, tree pruning, tree removal, removal of hazardous limbs, stump removal, stump grinding, shrub pruning & shrub removal.
For our stump grinding / stump removal services, we use self-propelled, light weight stump grinders. This virtually eliminates lawn damage when getting to and from the stump removal areas. Our machines are 10′ long & the width of the machine can be brought down to 35″, allowing us to fit through a 36″ fence gate opening. They are powered by 45 h.p. diesel engines, allowing us to grind stumps all year long (even in winter when the ground is frozen). When we grind stumps, we remove all above-ground roots and the stump swell (the raised area around the stump).

We prefer to keep canopies lower. It results in a stronger tree and it looks nicer. We like to raise them up just enough to provide clearance for lawn mowing and to separate the tree from smaller plantings under the tree.
