Our company has extensive experience in the asbestos, lead paint, and microbial (mold, bacteria, etc.) abatement industries. We are spearheaded by our President and Managing Director, Dave McEwan. Dave is a successful entrepreneur responsible for creating over 7 innovative companies. Just prior to acquiring controlling interest in AST in 1993, he was Vice President and a Corporate Officer of Chemical Waste Management, Inc. from 1985 to 1992. From 1968 to 1985 Dave held a variety of positions at Borg Warner Corporation.
AST utilizes state-of-the art techniques including component removal, tested cleaning methods, and specialized products specifically designed for the mold abatement industry. But once it's gone, we want to make sure it never returns. So we use our understanding of mold growth, to identify the problem areas and develop a plan of action to resolve the issues. For all of the mold that is visible, there may be much more that lies behind walls or wallpaper, under carpet or above ceiling tiles, in ductwork or around heating and cooling systems.
