Echo Home Inspection Inc. was started in 1989, and our Home Inspectors have over 60 years of combined experience. The owner, Dotty Dose, started as a realtor in 1969. In the early 1980's, she left real estate and decided to pursue a career building Lindal Cedar Homes under the name Cedar Dream Homes. After years of building, and giving advice to friends and family on the condition of homes they were looking to sell or buy, Dotty left the building industry in 1989 and started Echo Home Inspection Inc.

Echo Home Inspection Inc. conducts a thorough, professional inspection of your home and provide you with an accurate and unbiased report on all components of the home you are thinking of buying. Your Home Inspection will be a thorough in-depth visual Inspection of the structure and operating components of the home at the time of Inspection. They are performed to the State of Illinois Standards.

Echo Home Inspection Inc. has been serving the clients over 30 years. We send out a two person team to conduct your home inspection. Our Home Inspectors use a detailed rating system during their analysis and you will receive a computerized Home Inspection Report within 24 hours of your Inspection. It's our goal to enhance your buying experience and provide you with impartial information so that you can feel more confident about your buying decision. Home inspections are an extra expense and usually optional, so do you really need one? Probably. Money might be tight for closing, but try to imagine moving in and finding out that the air conditioning unit isn't capable of cooling the house, or that portions of the electrical system are substandard, or that the chimney needs immediate repairs. First, your offer to purchase should have included a detailed statement regarding your rights to a home inspection. The standard contract used by real estate agents may give you the right to back out of a contract if a home inspection uncovers more problems than you are willing to deal with.
