Trees and shrubs we plant have a separate individual warranty that will be provided with a planting estimate.

Our clients have relied on us for their tree, land and forest care needs for more than 30 years. Founded in 1986 by William A. Russell Jr. in Woodstock, VT, we began asChippers: Your Land Enhancement Crew. Jason Eaton joined the company in 1996 as our lead Operations Manager, and in 2002, we merged withTreescapes, a Lebanon, NH tree company, greatly expanding our arboricultural expertise, and its former owner, Cal Felicetti, remains with us as our lead consulting arborist and manager. In 2005, we acquired the formerFrench's Tree Service of Meredith, NH, and its former owner Phil French remained with us until his 2008 retirement as a sales consultant and trainer.

An arborist is a specialist in the care of trees and shrubs, covering all aspects of preservation, hazard protection and planting. These skilled professionals help us enjoy the sheer beauty and the many beneficial aspects that our trees and shrubs provide. Chippers uses the term arboriculture for the umbrella under which all the services our ISA Certified Arborists provide for the care of your trees and shrubs. This includes tree removals, pruning & cabling, plant health care for soil health and the protection against disease and pests, planting & transplanting, and the less expected such as consultation for pre-and post-construction so important trees can be saved, shoreline protection, wildlife habitat & sustainable landscapes, pre-winter safety audits, lightning protection and consulting on legal cases.
