Sagging floors result from failing floor joists in the crawl space underneath your house. These problems can result from open crawl space vents or doors, excessive moisture and humidity, and wet, rotting wood. Open crawl space vents let in moisture, which creates the perfect environment for wood rot, mold, mildew and dust mites. Plus a vented dirt crawl space can also cause your energy bill to be nearly 20% higher! Exposed dirt in your crawl space absorbs moisture open crawl space vents allow inside.

Basement water problems are pervasive. Whether you live in a generally humid area, a generally arid area, or somewhere in between, chances are that you've had basement water problems of some kind at some point. A wet basement is a huge problem, and there are many other issues that can arise because of these basement water problems. A footing drain is installed just outside of your home's basement foundation. This drain is meant to keep water away from your foundation but it can easily clog. The footing drain is thick pipe that has holes drilled into it to allow water to drip into the pipe.

Expansive soils create foundation damage. Expansive soils, including, clay soil, shrink-swell, and heavable soil, are all different names for the same thing. Expansive soils are responsible for more damage to buildings than any other natural hazard. This type of soil contains minerals like smectite clays, which absorb a lot of moisture. As the expansive soil soaks up water it expands - up to 15 times its dry volume. Furthermore, the expanded soil then pushes against your foundation and creates cracks or waterproofing problems.

We were extremely impressed with the work performed by Adam Canter, Jared Whiticor, Zack Ball, and Danzell Gains. They were professional, answered all our questions, and the completed work was excellent. We highly recommend these workers and JES!

JES is the best. The repair crew (Kelso) arrived at the time promised, provided excellent service and left the basement debris free. The fellows were professional and friendly and a delight to have in our home. Our basement needed some structural repair and JES had the solution to our needs. Our initial contact was with Charlie Peterson, who inspected our foundation, made the solution recommendations and discussed the payment that best suited us. I recommend them highly.

When you have someone come out to your house for a free quote but no one ever calls back even 2 months later with an actual quote/ proposal. Yeah I'm giving you a 1 star review! What a joke! But it looks like from reading some of the other reviews it may have been a blessing in disguise!
