At Charmed Chimney Service, our standard hours of operation are Monday through Saturday: 7am to 8pm, but as always we offer 24 hour emergency service.
Before we start a chimney sweep we will move furniture, coffee tables or anything else that might come in contact with our equipment. Next, we lay down a 6' by 9' drop cloth over the hearth and surrounding wood floor or carpet. Then we will remove any logs or grates from the firebox that might get in the way and place them outside the home or on the drop cloth. The last step before the chimney sweep begins is to turn on the shop vacuum which will capture any dust and debris that might fall down during the chimney sweeping process.
