Bruno Construction was founded in the early 1980's by Bruno Dymek and has been family owned and operated ever since. Bruno didn't simply just start a company with no experience. He originally started out as as a laborer mixing mortar and carrying bricks and materials. He slowly worked his way up to a tuck-pointer and then a brick layer. After over a decade of learning the trade and skills he opened his own company, when his boss retired, and named it after himself "Bruno Construction". Bruno focused more on quality and honesty than anything else.

Caulking services provided on commercial and residential buildings. Caulking can be just as important as tuckpointing. It seals joints to prevent water infiltration. On this Hotel we removed the existing failing caulking and placed new Dow Corning products around all the window frames to help with the water infiltration issues that were occurring. Caulking controls water penetration, provides thermal insulation and can even reduce noise pollution.

Tuckpointing is the process of refilling the joints between the brick, block, or stones that make up a structure. Over time the mortar between the masonry units may simply wash away do to the weather. The mortar joints may also crack due to the movement or settling of a building or structure causing areas where water and insects may enter. Tuckpointing is a very important part in the proper maintenance of a building. The more mortar you can place into a joint the better and longer it will last. This is why prior to tuckpointing we always recommend to have the joints ground out to a certain depth, usually 3/4 deep.
