In the spring of 1992, our founder Ed, went to a local home improvement store to buy low voltage pathlights for his backyard. After seeing the selection (or lack thereof) and the quality of their lights, not to mention having to pick out the lights from only a sealed box under the blaring fluorescent lights. A lot of things have changed in the lighting industry and the retail world since we started in 1992. However, having the best customer service available, coupled with superior knowledge of the outdoor lighting industry is the key to our years of success.
JD Young has been in the lighting industry for over 30 years, most of which were strictly in landscape lighting. JD's training has included factory tours and seminars from some of the top manufacturers in the industry. His experience has given JD the knowledge and skill to help the customer through all phases of a landscape lighting project, from fixture choice to the final design. JD and his wife, Stacey, live in Dallas and are the proud parents of their son Brandon and wife Emily, dog Buddy, and 2 cats.
