The Dry Guys use the HOST Dry Extraction System to get carpet deep down clean without saturating it with water and detergents. Approximately 85% of the soil in your carpet is dry and can easily be removed through vacuuming. The dry extraction method begins with a thorough vacuuming that removes this dry soil before attempting to clean the carpet. The remaining 15% of the soil is oily or greasy, and therefore requires a detergent or solvent to remove it. Dry extraction controls the moisture by applying small amounts of water, mild detergent, and safe solvents to the carpeting via a soft, natural product that acts as a sponge.
