We would highly recommend H & R Window Repair to anyone that has out of warranty wood Pella Windows. We called Pella initially to see if they could come out and look at the wood rot on our bay window. They recommended H & R Window Repair. The middle window of our bay window had wood rot at the bottom of the sash. H & R came out accessed the problem provided us with a quote. Even though we had to wait some time to get the repair done it was only because they had to order our specific replacement pane from Pella. They arrived yesterday to replace the sash and window pane. The work to get the old pane out of the center is tricky and they know exactly how to do it. The patience and the knowledge they have in repairing these windows is the key. Our bay window had also dropped about an inch and they jacked the window back up and re-braced it as well. They also discovered when they took the cladding off at the bottom of the bay window that we had a rotted 2 x 4 which they also took the time to replace. These guys worked the entire day and made sure everything was as perfect as you would expect when hiring out work. We also had one window that would not close correctly and latch. They adjusted the bracket and now that window closes without having to go outside and push it flush to the frame. You never know who you really have hired until they come out and do the job. I would definitely hire this company again if we need work in the future and I will recommend them to anyone looking for window repair. I can't stop looking at the work they did. So impressed with their work ethic and quality of work.
