BIBS is an insulating system that uses Johns Manville Climate Pro fiberglass insulation blown into place behind a mesh fabric at a specific density. BIBS is a much better than traditional batts, and is able to achieve a higher R-Value (R23 in a 2x6 wall). We recommend BIBS when our customers are looking for a more efficient alternative to batts, but the budget does not allow for the use of spray foam insulation in all the walls. In these situations, we often install BIBS in the walls and spray foam insulation in the rim joist ends to create a very efficient insulation system at a lower cost than using spray foam exclusively.

It's blown in to cover attics and hard-to-reach areas within attics, like corners, edges and around framing. It is noncorrosive and noncombustible. When it's applied to the recommended thickness and specifications, you can be assured that your home is energy-efficient, with minimal heat loss.

For residential spray foam applications, we exclusively use Polarfoam PF-7300-0 Soya (Polarfoam). Polarfoam is an environmentally friendly, high performance, closed cell rigid polyurethane foam used for insulation, and is spray applied exclusively by Caliber certified applicators. Because spray foam insulation is applied as a liquid and then expands to 20-30 times its initial volume, it is the best way to ensure that every single crack, gap, and void is perfectly sealed.
