Properly installed insulation in your home can save you money on heating and air conditioning energy expenses, and over time it can pay for itself! Insulation will help make your home less drafty and create a more comfortable living environment. By insulating your home you will reduce how many times your furnace and air conditioner turn on during the day and night, thus saving you money on energy bills and prolonging the life of your heating and cooling systems. Ace & Sons uses superior, cost-effective, recyclable products and the latest foam injection technology.

We won't just depend on our great reputation, we will prove to you why over 30,000 customers continue to refer their friends and family to Ace & Sons for their insulation needs. How do we prove it? We use thermal imaging to check every installation, to demonstrate a job well done and guaranteeing customer satisfaction.

Cellulose insulation is a superior insulator, produced by nature, and perfected by Energy Control. All-natural wood fibers within the product provide your home with the maximum protection against high energy costs - both heating and cooling - and cold, drafty walls. At 3.6 to 3.8 per inch cellulose insulation is considerably better than most blown mineral fiber products, but R-value is only one factor in the energy efficiency of a home. Studies of actual buildings regularly show that cellulose-insulated buildings may use 20% to 30% less energy than buildings with fiberglass, even if the R-value of the insulation in the walls and ceilings are identical.

Did you know that your walls may have NO WALL INSULATION at all? If you have an older home - built before the 1970's - the space in your exterior walls between the studs probably has nothing but air inside. That is the same cold air that is outside (or hot air in the summer) trying to get in with nothing to stop it but your walls! No wonder your home always feels chilly in the winter - even with the furnace working overtime - or stuffy in the summer - even with your AC blasting all day long. Want a More Comfortable Home?

The first step toward saving money on energy is to insulate your attic. AccordingThe US Dept of Energy's "EERE Consumer Guide" - attic insulation is one of the best ways to make your home comfortable and efficient. And, attic insulation is also one of the most economical ways things you can do to start saving money and energy. You will see an immediate benefit! In Michigan, the recommended insulation level for an attic is R-60. A typical attic in an older home, with approximately two inches of fiberglass batt (R-Value of 2.2/in), has an R-Value of only around 5 - not nearly enough for a cold Michigan winter!

Home owners today pay hundreds of dollars in energy bills each month. Most are unaware that they have a measure of control over their home energy usage, and have opportunities to significantly reduce their heating and cooling bills. Turning lights off, reducing hot water temperature, and using the dishwasher less can help, but these are relatively small benefits compared to proper insulation. Proper home insulation can keep your energy bills down in both winter and summer, keep your house more comfortable, and keep it quieter!

Ace & Sons uses only the highest R-value cellulose manufactured by Energy Control, Inc. In addition to its superior insulating qualities, it is flame retardant, mold resistant, and repels insects. Energy Control™ cellulose is one of the most cost-effective insulation solutions available for walls and attics. Combined with installation methods perfected by Ace & Sons since 1981, it creates a permanent, air-tight barrier, and prevents energy loss. Ace & Sons uses the latest injection foam technology and foam products to completely fill and seal all gaps and spaces in your walls.

Ace & Sons uses the only foam designed for use in pre-insulated homes to completely fill and seal all gaps and spaces in your walls. It can be used in existing wood frame walls, masonry walls, and behind brick-even where outdated insulation was used. Our foam is superior to comparable injection foam products, bio-degradable, non-toxic, and meets the highest standards for fire safety and insulating properties (R-value). Previously, only new homes could benefit from all the advantages of foam insulation.

Rreally pleasant. considerate of our home and property (and my kiddos!), I'd say they went above and beyond. Anything that came up they came and got me and explained what was going on and either asked for my direction or told me what was best to do and why.

This is our second time having them out. First time they did the attic and basement sill plate. This time we had the walls done. We are happy with their work, professionalism, and cleanliness. Only problem would be that our salesman did not tell us that since we had vinyl siding on our porch, that portion could not be done until warmer weather (the siding could crack in the cold). He should know better!

They don't even deserve one star in our book, but I cannot leave a review if I don't at least click on one star. We scheduled the insulation for this morning, as we are on a tight schedule to move in our home next Friday. We were assured that it would be no problem. They cancelled the morning of, pushing back all of our other contractors. They did nothing to rectify the situation, and left us in limbo. I would not recommend this company to anyone. And I will be sure to let our friends and family know of their poor customer service.

What's new?

Sometimes in old insulation, there can be toxic chemicals. - - - You should avoid them asbestos you can. 😂

Did you know most heat loss in a home is through the walls?! New windows alone will not stop heat loss and many older homes have no insulation in the walls at all.

Having under-insulated walls is much like leaving a window open in the winter.
