Founded originally in the 1970's by George Beck, the retail plumbing storefront was purchased in 1980 by Meredith Galloway. Meredith was a local business owner that specialized in general home improvements and new construction since 1970. In 1980, Beck's was transformed from retail only to now include service. Over the next 10 years, Beck Plumbing grew vastly and started merging into the HVAC business. In 1999, it was decided to focus more on the community and the demands of the customers, and to reopen as a service only business and to no longer have the retail store front.

I have dealt with Galloway Beck twice now. The first time for all new HVAC in my home. The second for all new plumbing in my home.
Would NOT recommend Galloway Beck. Three year old Bryant gas furnace caught fire and they tried to blame the propane company stating they came in and changed the pressure. We have been getting propane delivered for years never once did they charge the pressure. We also had them do the plumbing and almost every fixture they put in leaked. We now have a hole in the ceiling and the bathroom that they are supposed to fix in our now three year old home. Put a bath tub in they they never leveled to drain correctly and wouldn't drain so they had to tear the first one out and replace. They will not call you back after multiple phone calls. I would not recommend them to anyone. They intentionally sent the same guy who we repeatedly said we would not allow back in to our home after multiple screw ups! I would never recommend them to anyone!
They have messed up so many things in our house. And have yet to come and fix them like promised. Service is absolutely ridiculous. Worst company ever.
