I was in heaven, it's a great place a Little pricey but for great plants don't mind paying.
Call me partial, but the Fanick's are a great family. The staff is very knowledgeable of all products that they carry. Prices are very reasonable. And if you need something they will do their best to get it for you or will tell you where to find it.
We will be back to regular business hours of 8:30am to 5pm, 7 days a week starting this Saturday. We have plenty of nice looking tomato and pepper plants along with some herbs. Onions and potatoes are still in stock too. Pre-emergent herbicides still need to be put down and we have plenty of Dimension and Corn Gluten meal for those pesky warm weather weeds that will be coming. We have some very colorful pots in different sizes to spice up the landscape. All sorts of fiesta colors! Some new.
Looking at Thursday and Friday forecast we decided to reopen the nursery on Saturday. We'll have some clean up to do and repairs to make from the loss of power to the greenhouses and possible water pipe issues. It's been a tough week for many and our prayers go out to those who have been severely effected by the weather. We hope things return to normal as soon as possible and when you need a break from the craziness come by and see us. If you have any plants that you suspect that could be frozen
We still have plenty of heavy duty weed fabric in different widths for protecting plants. Works great for short term plant protection and can be used later in the landscape for weed control. We have 3ft, 4ft, 5ft, 6ft, & 12ft widths. All sold by the foot off a bulk roll for custom lengths. Call or come by for pricing. We also carry foam pipe insulation in different sizes for protecting pipes. We'll be open on Saturday but Sunday might be different due to icy roads. Call ahead if you plan on.
There is a hard freeze coming this weekend into next week so get ready to protect those tender plants you bought during the warmer weather. Most nurseries have already sold out of Insulate so you will need to find other options to cover your plants. Blankets, sheets, beach towels work pretty good. Even the heavy duty weed fabric will work. A few days under cover is better than a frozen plant. Greenhouse plastic, plastic tarp or shower curtain only works if it does not touch the plant and it goes
