CIPP includes a polymer lining that's designed to custom fit your sewer's length, offsets, and diameter. Once the liner is filled with resin and saturated, it is placed in an inversion drum and prepped for launch. At the same time, the pipe that is to receive the liner (usually the basement mainline) is cleaned at high velocity, which descales the old pipe and removes residue. Then air compression is applied to install the liner from the access point all the way out to the repair point at the city's main sewer system.
If you're getting ready to buy a house, we highly recommend that you have a lateral sewer inspection done before you sign the papers. We see problems following house purchases all the time, and an inspection can save you thousands.
