Founded by Bert (Albert) Lorge in 1948 as Bear Creek Plumbing, in Bear Creek, WI, the founder sold the business to his son Pete and daughter-in-law Karla in 1988, who changed the name to "Lorge Plumbing" and moved the business to Manawa, WI. In January 2020, Pete and Karla retired and sold the business to employee Jared Strong and wife Ashley. They are proud to carry on the Lorge name and continue to serve Manawa and surrounding communities. We are introducing online bill payments and email invoices this year.

There are three types of septic systems - gravity flowed conventional, pumped conventional, and mound systems. To determine which septic system is appropriate for the property, a soil test is conducted where the property's ground water table is analysed.
