The brilliance of Creative Environments was in Megan East's ability to transition our naive ideas into a functional solution that seamlessly transitions from native Sonoran desert to outdoor living space and into our home. While our desire was to architecturally blend into nature, we have neighbors who's preferences were very different, and Megan created spectacular solutions for their properties as well. Megan's design mastery is unmatched and will continue to expand CE's distinguished resume of awards and accolades. As our project transitioned into reality, I must point out that there is nothing cheap about CE through all phases of the project. The material choices, craftsmanship, and management of unknowns is first class. Unknowns in our case included voracious javelinas as well as last minute changes by us which CE managed well. While we are ecstatic with the end product, I must share an error we made such that you don't duplicate our mistake. We assumed that flame sensing valving was code for all fire features. To our surprise, this is not a requirement in Marana, AZ so we should have specified this basic safety feature up front.
