The company known throughout the wholesaler channel as Kessler Sales & Distribution (or KSD) is now an independent and autonomous entity within the Mueller Industries family of companies. The company's vertical integration strategy remains intact - now with Mueller Streamline and Howell Metals leading the supply side. Our mission remains constant - to source and supply quality products and to provide superior service and salesmanship to wholesalers in the plumbing and heating, HVACR, industrial / commercial, waterworks and OEM channels.

Kessler's roots as a wholesale plumbing supplier began in 1935 with Rae Kessler, a first-generation Russian immigrant, and her husband, Morris, a plumber, who rented a storefront in Paterson, NJ, for his equipment. One day while Morris was on a job, a passerby asked if he could buy a used radiator in the window. The enterprising Mrs. Kessler immediately made the sale, which became the first transaction in the fledgling new business, Kessler Plumbing & Heating Supply Company. For the next 40 years, the Kesslers operated a traditional plumbing supply house while Paterson's numerous textile mills and manufacturing facilities provided a steady stream of contractor customers.

KSD valves are used in residential and commercial applications for plumbing, heating and irrigation. We offer a large selection of lead-free valves with a variety of end connection styles, such as threaded, solder, press and compression. Recent additions to the KSD line include specialty heating valves and a full range of brass spring-loaded check valves. As with all KSD Fittings & Valves products, our commitment to our customers includes supplying the highest quality products, servicing your orders at the highest fill rates and shipping products to your door as quickly as possible.
